I was told that the crappie are turning on pretty good out at Arthur. Getting some nice crappie off the weed edges and shallow laydowns or brush piles.

Anyone been doing any good for crappies this year? I haven't made it out yet but in past years I remember going crappie fishing on Easter Day up in muddy creek and doing well.

I was thinking of going there today. But couldnt find out what the water temperature is.

You folks think the water temp is good for fishing now?

The water temp over the weekend was in the low 40's. 42 in muddy creek. I saw a few crappie fishermen out there but didn't see anyone catching anything.
